St. Michael Embobut Parish is located in Tot Division, in the Northern part of Keiyo Marakwet District, 135 kilometres away from Eldoret town. It was started by Father Reinhard Bottner in 1974.

The parish has 4 nursery schools, run by the parish and 7 primary schools sponsored by the church. It also has a dispensary. St. Michael Embobut parish was also handed over to the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret in 1999.

Until our 2022 Golden Jubilee, the parish had grown to 8 outstations and 26 small Christian communities.
