St. Benedict Ruaraka Community, located along Thika Superhighway in the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi was founded in 1977. The community was officially established in 1978 together with St. Benedict parish. The community runs a retreat conference facility – Amani Conference Centre, St. Benedict Primary School, St. Stephen Catholic School, St. Maurus Catholic Special School and the Vocational Training and Production Centre – VTPC.

Br. Isaac Andanje OSB is the current Superior of Ruaraka Community and Rev. Fr. Gabriel Kinoti OSB is the current Parish Priest of St. Benedict Ruaraka Parish which has 6 outstations and 101 Small Christian communities. More about the parish is found on the parish’s website, www.sbparish.or.ke
